Eknath Khadse, former Maharashtra minister and BJP veteran, joins NCP

Eknath Khadse, who resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) recently, joined the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in the presence of party chief Sharad Pawar in Mumbai on Friday. Khadse had sent his resignation to BJP's Maharashtra president Chandrakant Patil wherein he declared, "I am resigning from the primary membership of BJP due to personal reasons."
